Tony Honour This is a truly brilliant album; I saw the band at the 2019 Winter’s End festival at Chepstow. They put on a stunning set, most of which was from this album. I placed an order for the double album as soon as the set had finished and counted the days waiting patiently for its arrival. I was not disappointed; from beginning to end this is class work by Hasse and the Musical Companion. Favorite track: Parallel Life.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) By now, we know it for sure: Hasse Fröberg is much more than just the second voice and the rhythm guitar of "The Flower Kings". It's obvious as well that he has learned a lot from the big boss of Swedish symphonic rock, Roine Stolt, throughout the years he has played with this band. In fact, if you don't know exactly what's playing, you might assume it's a new TFK album. Whether this is something good or evil - to me, it's at least highly pleasant, since I go for this special kind of prog sound Favorite track: Never Alone.

Hasse Fröberg is well known for his contribution for more than two decades as a singer and guitarist in The Flower Kings, as well as his work with the Swedish hardrock band Spellbound in the eighties. HFMC also consists of Anton Lindsjö, Thomsson, Kjell Haraldsson and Ola Strandberg. The band members have played together with names like Glenn Hughes, Michael Schenker, Jeff Scott Soto, Joe Lynn Turner and of course Spellbound. HFMC has a warm and unique sound of their own with influences from Progressive Rock, Classic Rock and even a hint of Pop.

HFMC (Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion) released their debut album FuturePast in August 2010. Since then two more studio albums have seen the light of day, Powerplay (2012) and the acclaimed self-titled album HFMC (2015). In 2017 the live CD/DVD No Place Like Home was released. The band has toured in Europe and USA and played some major festivals. HFMC is right now in the finalizing stage of their upcoming fourth studio album, Parallel Life. Release date is planned to 12/9 2019. The tour for the autumn 2019 will be based on music from Parallel Life.

Soothfully a phenomenal prog rock album—an instant classic. What motivates me to say so, is the music’s incredible expressiveness & its wonderfully cinematic song structures. Jargon is a very good fit with this band. It is quite evident that the band’s current lineup have great chemistry together & that they share a common affinity to this vein of music.
